Message I've raced everything from a 64 Stingray to AMG Mercs, purely as an amateur. I do it for kicks as my favorite pasttime, but I don't sweat lap times so much as i do knowing my lines are clean and having a car that rewards me on the track. But even on the streets, I flog my cars fairly stiffly, as long as its safe of course.

The Iconels are top of my mod list and the leader gears are right behind em. For now, I'm just wating to see the condition of my block and heads to find out how much room I have in my budget. For now though, I am thinking after reading all the comments that I will go for the 700BB's in the .64 housing and do my best to ensure that the motor breathes as well as possible to reduce lag.

I appreciate everyone's input though. I apologize for posting something that gets a lot of discussion.

1991 Aztec Red TT bought new in '91
Way back then, added JWT chip, ignition advance, Pop charger, Stainless 3pc Borla cat back; 17 in. OZ wheels
Sold 1994, 81,000 miles later, still on orig clutch; what a car

1991 Charcoal Gray TT purchased 06/05; for details, see Aspendogg, he built the one of a kind I'm proud to call my own. When I find a way to improve on it, I'll let everyone know.
